Tractor in the airport?

I recently flew into Harrisburg International airport in pennsylvania and saw this New Holland 820TL near the baggage claim area. I'm used to seeing tractors out on the tarmac for the purposes of clearing snow runways or moving baggage but this is the first time ive seen one used for advertising. Harrisburg is the home of the pennsylvania farm show so I guess it makes sense, but definately an interesting sight for someone used to big city airports.

Interspace Advertising, who handles leasing the space available for advertising in many airports, HIA included, has a contract with Case-New Holland (Lancaster County-based company). CNH rotates which tractor(s) is/are actually displayed. So, next time you visit HIA there may very well be an entirely different tractor display.

Very interesting, my wife is in marketing I'll have to tell her about this strategy. It definately left an impression on me.

Airport advertising space is not limited to specific types of companies or products, as you witnessed when walking through our terminal, there are vehicles advertising local car dealership, Sutliff, as well as duratrans on the walls for everything from banks, to higher education institutions, to hotels.
